Early in life Charlotte, NC native Hourglass learned that aside from family and a few close friends, her foundation was her passion for music. After working as a writer and contributor for notable sites like Genius.com, there was no looking back once she took to the turntables for her first gig in 2012.

Without any major backing, Hourglass worked her way into the dj booths of Atlanta’s most notable venues before finding a family in the collective WERC Crew. With WERC, Hourglass has reached new heights, opening for artists Kaytranada, NAO, JMSN, Princess Nokia, Sango and others.  Although performing is her true love, Hourglass also puts her business degree to use, working to plan and execute each WERC produced event with her team from beginning to end.

A concrete rose who has found her place in a community full of talent using her motto “Think Outside the Clock,” Hourglass’s style ranges from future beats and house to dancehall, afrobeats, Latin, hip hop, top 40, and everything in between. You can find her performing at festivals such as Afropunk and A3C, and at WERC's smash events WHINE, The Groove, and Smothered + Covered.
